# Billing

> Manage prepaid Runner usage credits, free trials, payment methods, and automatic top-ups.

Entire bills only for Runner usage, using prepaid usage credits. You can continue using other features for free. Charges depend on the AI model tokens your Runners use. Add credit manually or enable automatic top-up to keep your Runners running.

## How Billing Works

1. **Free trial:** Each billing account receives a one-time trial credit when you set up billing or a Runner run starts, whichever happens first.
2. **Usage:** Each time your Runners run, the cost of their model tokens is deducted from your credit balance.
3. **Add credit:** When your trial credit is used up, add a card or pay with Link to buy credit. You can still use other features and Entire's preset runners.
4. **Automatic top-up (optional):** Entire buys more credit when your balance falls below a threshold you choose.
5. **Zero balance:** If your balance reaches \$0, Runners stop until you add more credit.

## Billing Accounts

Each personal account and organization is billed separately and has its own credit balance, trial, payment method, and invoices. Runner usage is billed to the account or organization that owns the repository.

| Billing account | Who can manage billing |
| - | - |
| Personal account | The account owner |
| Entire organization | Organization admins |
| GitHub organization | Admins of the organization on GitHub |

For GitHub organizations, Entire verifies admin status with GitHub. Removing someone as a GitHub admin also removes their access to the organization's billing in Entire.

## Free Trial

Every billing account receives a one-time trial credit of \*\*$100**. The trial ends after $100 of usage or 90 days after it starts, whichever happens first.

The trial credit is granted when either of these happens first:

* You set up billing in your account or organization settings.
* A Runner run starts for the account or organization.

Trial credit does not require a card. It is granted once per billing account, does not reset, and expires 90 days after it is granted. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

## Add Credit

You can add credit at any time. Once your trial is used up, adding a payment method and buying credit happens in a single flow.

**1. Open Billing**

Open **Account > Billing** for your personal account or organization.

**2. Set Up Billing or Buy Credit**

Select **Set up billing** if you haven't added a payment method, or **Buy credit** if billing is already set up.

**3. Confirm Your Purchase**

Add your credit card details or pay through your Link account, then confirm the purchase.

Credit is available immediately and expires 365 days after purchase. Stopped Runners resume automatically when you add credit.

### Update Your Payment Method

Open **Account > Billing** and select **Manage card and billing details**. This opens a Stripe-hosted page and returns you to Entire when you're done.

## Automatic Top-Up

Automatic top-up buys credit when your balance falls below a threshold, so Runners aren't interrupted. It's off by default.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Automatic top-up is available only after you add a payment method.

To turn it on:

1. Open **Account > Billing**.
2. Turn on **Automatic top-up**.
3. Set the threshold balance and the target balance to top up to. By default, Entire tops up to $50 when your balance falls below $10.
4. Save your changes.

If a top-up payment fails, Runners stop until the payment succeeds or you add credit manually.

## Models and Pricing

Entire offers the following models for your Runners. All prices are **USD per million tokens**, verified against official provider documentation on **October 25, 2026**. Tables show standard API rates for global processing; prompt-length exceptions are listed below.

**Input** means uncached input. **Cache read** is the price for reusing cached input, and **cache write** is the price for storing input for later reuse. The write columns show different cache lifetimes.

### Anthropic

| Model | Input | Output | Cache read | Cache write (5 min) | Cache write (1 hour) |
| - | - | - | - | - | - |
| Claude Opus 5.5 (default) | \$4.00 | \$20.00 | \$0.20 | \$5.00 | \$8.00 |
| Claude Opus 5 | \$5.00 | \$25.00 | \$0.50 | \$6.25 | \$10.00 |
| Claude Sonnet 5.5 | \$2.00 | \$10.00 | \$0.10 | \$2.50 | \$4.00 |
| Claude Sonnet 5 | \$2.00 | \$10.00 | \$0.20 | \$2.50 | \$4.00 |
| Claude Haiku 5.5 (up to 100,000 prompt tokens) | \$0.10 | \$0.50 | \$0.01 | \$0.125 | \$0.20 |
| Claude Haiku 5.5 (over 100,000 prompt tokens) | \$0.50 | \$2.50 | \$0.05 | \$0.625 | \$1.00 |

Haiku 5.5 counts all input tokens, including cache reads and writes, toward the 100,000-token threshold. A request above that threshold uses the higher rates for the full request. The other Claude models listed here keep standard token rates across their context windows.

Anthropic's default cache lifetime is 5 minutes; 1-hour writes cost more. Reusing a cached prefix refreshes its lifetime at the cache-read rate.

### OpenAI

| Model | Input | Output | Cache read | Cache write (30 min) | Cache write (12 hours) |
| - | - | - | - | - | - |
| GPT-6 Astra | \$10.00 | \$50.00 | \$1.00 | \$12.50 | \$25.00 |
| GPT-5.6 Sol | \$4.00 | \$20.00 | \$0.40 | \$5.00 | \$10.00 |
| GPT-6.1 Sol (default) | \$2.00 | \$10.00 | \$0.10 | \$2.50 | \$5.00 |
| GPT-6 Sol | \$2.00 | \$10.00 | \$0.20 | \$2.50 | \$5.00 |
| GPT-5.6 Luna | \$0.20 | \$1.20 | \$0.02 | \$0.25 | \$0.50 |
| GPT-6 Luna | \$0.10 | \$0.50 | \$0.01 | \$0.125 | \$0.25 |

For GPT-5.6 and later, the default cache-write lifetime is 30 minutes at 1.25× the uncached input rate. The Responses API also supports 12-hour writes at 2.5× input. The 12-hour prices for GPT-6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Luna above are calculated using that published multiplier. These are total write prices, not additional fees on top of uncached input. Cache-read prices are the same for both lifetimes.

For all OpenAI models listed here, requests with more than 272,000 input tokens cost 2× the input rate and 1.5× the output rate for the full request. GPT-6 models also double cache-read and cache-write rates at that threshold.

Runner usage is priced at the model provider's published rates. Rates update automatically when providers change their prices. Regional processing or faster processing modes can have different prices. The cache duration used by a model call determines which write rate applies.

Larger models generally cost more per run than smaller ones. The total cost also depends on how many tokens a run uses and how much input is reused from cache.

### Bring Your Own Key

Calls made with your own model provider key are billed by your provider and do not use Entire's credits. To add a key, open the repository's **Settings > Secrets** and select **Add secret** for Anthropic or OpenAI.

## When Your Balance Reaches Zero

When your balance reaches \$0, Runners stop for that billing account in every region, and new runs do not start. Runners resume automatically once credit is added through a purchase or a successful top-up.

## Payments and Invoices

Purchases and top-ups are charged to your payment method immediately through Stripe. You also receive a monthly usage invoice. It only shows an amount due if usage continued briefly after your credits reached zero and before your Runners stopped.

## Defaults and Limits

| Setting | Value |
| - | - |
| Free trial | \$100 credit, once per billing account |
| Trial credit expiration | 90 days after issuance |
| Minimum credit purchase | \$10 |
| Default credit purchase | \$25 |
| Purchased credit expiration | 365 days after purchase |
| Automatic top-up | Off by default |
| Default top-up threshold | \$10 |
| Default top-up target | \$50 |
| Automatic top-up monthly maximum | None |

## Limitations

* Usage credits currently cover Runner model usage only. You can continue using other features for free.
* Usage takes a few minutes to record, and model calls in progress are allowed to finish. A small amount of usage can therefore run past \$0. It is charged on your monthly usage invoice or covered by your next top-up.
* Trial credits expire 90 days after issuance unless stated otherwise. Purchased credits expire 365 days after purchase. Both are non-refundable and non-transferable.
