# logout

> Log out of Entire.

Log out of every saved login.

```bash theme={null}
entire logout [flags]
```

For each saved [login context](/cli-reference/auth#login-contexts), this ends every CLI session on that login server, other machines included, and removes the login from this machine.

Nothing narrows it. An explicit `--context` is refused rather than ignored, and `ENTIRE_CONTEXT` is ignored. Press Ctrl-C to stop the sweep partway.

Browser and web sessions stay signed in unless you pass `--everywhere`.

| `--everywhere` | Also end browser and web sessions on each login server. A browser is signed out on its next request, and the web app once its access token expires. |

> Against an older login server, a plain `entire logout` falls back to revoking only the current session.
