# SDKs

> Official client libraries for the Entire API.

## Go

One client for repositories and Git, trails and code review, the agent sessions and checkpoints behind commits, search, and the organizations and projects around them. Standard library only, Go 1.24 or newer. The API reference is on [pkg.go.dev](https://pkg.go.dev/go.entire.com/entire-sdk-go).

```bash theme={null}
go get go.entire.com/entire-sdk-go
export ENTIRE_TOKEN="$(entire auth token)"
```

```go theme={null}
client, err := entire.NewClientFromEnv() // reads ENTIRE_TOKEN
if err != nil {
	log.Fatal(err)
}
repoID, err := client.ResolveRepoID(ctx, "gh/acme/widget")
if err != nil {
	log.Fatal(err)
}
resp, err := client.Git.ListCommits(ctx, repoID, "HEAD", &entire.CommitListOptions{
	ListOptions: entire.ListOptions{PageSize: 10},
})
```

Every request goes where its data lives: repository requests to the region that stores the repository, and account, organization and project requests to Core. You never choose a host.

| Service | Covers |
| :- | :- |
| `Trails` | A repository's trails, their events, approvals, gates and merges, code reviews and discussions |
| `Git` | Branches, tags and refs, commits, comparisons, trees, files and diffs, and live ref changes |
| `Checkpoints`, `Sessions` | The agent sessions behind commits, and their transcripts |
| `Search` | Code search, and semantic search over repositories, checkpoints, commits, pull requests and sessions |
| `Repos` | The repository directory, and the agents that worked on a repository's code |
| `Me`, `Orgs`, `Projects` | Your account and your trails and sessions across repositories; organizations and their members; projects and their repositories |

Endpoints the SDK does not cover are a few lines away: `client.NewRequest` and `entire.Call` send any request with the client's authentication, routing, retries and error handling.

### Building a plugin

The `plugin` package implements the plugin protocol for partners: install receipts, plugin JWTs and installation tokens, the repository list, check runs and webhooks. See [Build it with the Go SDK](https://docs.entire.com/guides/api/plugins/go-sdk.md).

Until 1.0, minor versions may change the API.
